Is the Earth really Flat?
From Concious Evelution (Flat Earth) Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/conscious.evolution.31/about
I know this question seems really stupid, but it's one that I had to ask myself while questioning my relationship with Jesus. If I believed what the world wants me to believe about the earth, it often caused me to lose my belief that there really was a heavenly father. If we really are on a spinning ball in the middle of nothingness then what does that make us? Are we just like the irrelevant ants that cross our pathway every day during the summer?
What if there really are beings on other planets?
If there are other worlds with other intelligent life why didn't Jesus tell us about them in his stories? Did each of these other planets and the lifeforms thereon have their own Savior, and if not are they doomed to go to hell?
If we as Christians believe in the creation theory, but at the same time believe in the heliocentric2 system, are we just selectively listening when the Bible tells us how God made the Earth? The story the Bible tells us is lot different than the story the world wants us to believe.
Lets look what the Bible actually says. (taken from the video below)
And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
Genesis 1:6-8 KJV

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Genesis 1:14 KJV
Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; And thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, Until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.
Joshua 10:12-13 KJV
Joshua 10:12-13 KJV
When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: At the light of thine arrows they went, And at the shining of thy glittering spear.

And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
